Morning Meditation
I am awake. I get to see my sisters for the first time in over a year. I get to cuddle with Michael.
The Post
So I'm gonna do something new here. Every post I write (which I will try to do every day), I will start with a morning meditation, whether or not it be morning at all. I'll try to post about three things that I'm thankful for each day. So yeah.
Got to hang out with my sisters today. Spent more than I intended, but meh. Had fun.
Getting my hair cut tomorrow. Can't wait. Gonna get it all short and choppy. Woot.
Catie's violin is done, so I'm gonna bring her to pick that up tomorrow, then on to Border's most likely. That should be fun.
Saturday, there's a concert that I'm selling stuff at. Here's hoping I can make a bit of money. Remy really wants his camera.
Nothing more to write right now. Maybe I'll make another post later.
Oh, and my check engine light is on again. I know what it is, but still. -sighs-
I apologize for anything that doesn't make sense... I'm watching something at the same time as writing this.

Blah
Okay, so, while I don't have anything specific to write about right now, I decided I need to make an effort to write on a daily basis. At least something.
So. I have determined that I need an iPhone. Particularly an iPhone 4. My Pre keeps dying. Like, on a more-frequently-than-daily basis. I charged it to full late Monday night. It died around seven last night. Charged it to full again late last night. Let's see how long it lasts. I'm not even using it that much! What the hell! Maybe I should just leave my messengers offline. But there's a reason I leave them online! -sigh-
In any case, that's not the only thing I don't like about my Pre. I can't stand physical keyboard anymore. It was fine on the Rumor, okay on the Treo, but on the Pre, I'm sick of it. It needs to go away. I thought I would prefer it. I was wrong. Should have waited a couple months to get the iPhone. -sigh- All well. Hopefully they'll come to Sprint before my contract with them is up. I don't like AT&T or Verizon. Sprint has always had excellent customer service with me. Admittedly, I'm rather nice to people that are working. Or people in general. -shrug-
Remy is pissy 'cause he can't get his camera yet. Of course, quickly enough for him is he'd already have it, so... meh. Admittedly, I rather want it, too. Photography is fun. And it's not just him that thinks so. -shrug-
Get to claim my sisters tomorrow. Gotta tidy up my back seat to make room for them. I miss them. What with them being on the other side of the country until recently. So that's exciting. Of course, I'm not buying 'em anything but food, as I don't have the money, but I can take 'em around and show 'em the awesomeness that is my city.
Get to hang with Catie Friday. Going to Border's. That should prove fun. Anything with Catie tends to be fun and full of randomnosity. I love it. Hey, it's just now sinking in that Catie reads this thing! Without my prompting! Cool! I have a reader! Hi, Catie!!
In other news, I like ramen.
Also, moose eraser.
I have no idea.

This is what happens...
When Catie's over and I get bored.
SO! Catie came over today. She's actually still here. Over my shoulder. Say hi, Catie!
"Hi, everyone!"
Thank you, Catie!
Anyway. So we're watching Supernatural, 'cause she got me hooked (-shakes fist-), and we got to being random, as we are wont to do. And I said I should draw a Devil's Trap on the inside of my trunk. And she's like, "Do it!" And I'm like, "I will!" And she's like, "I'm gonna hold you to it; you won't!"
I did.

Oh yeah. I think I just drastically either reduced or increased the value of my car.
So, this is what happens when Catie comes over and I'm bored. Mass chaos. And randomnisity.

It has started.
So I sent Catie (MoH) the first of the penpal letters. This was mentioned before; we have to write in the style of Jane Austin, when sleep deprived, or both. Well, I have been given permission to post the letters here. Exciting! When I finish here, I will post my response, as she has received it.
Please check a couple of back posts! Any letter transcriptions will have the tag "penpals," and have a title saying who wrote it to whom (i.e. I wrote it to Catie? It will say "Randi -> Catie").
How fun is this?!

I'm allergic to weekends.
So. I am having another shitty day. My poor iPod had a fight with the pavement. And lost. -cry- I'm not happy. And now I'm at a party. I'm not fond of parties. So it's straight to the booze for me. I hate to do it, but I grabbed a bottle of Mike's nearly as soon as I arrived. I'm not a drunk, this is likely one of two, or perhaps the only one, that I will be having today. I just wanna go home. And crawl into bed and sleep for a few months.
In other news, Remy is addicted to Second Life. It's really bad. So what am I doing? Leeching internet and sitting in Second Life. Sounds good to Remy Sounds antisocial to me. Surprise surprise.

OCARINAAA!
So in case my last post made approximately -21% sense, I ordered an ocarina from Korea a couple weeks ago. So, I had been waiting impatiently for it to arrive. And guess what. It did today! Who guessed right? Oh, good, you get a cookie. No, not you, you should have guessed right. Maybe next time.
-ahem- Anyway! So, the ocarina I ordered is a Noble brand plastic alto C ocarina, in dark red. It's so pretty! It actually has some weight to it, too! It came with a simple fingering chart, a really soft pouch, and a neck strap. I am not exaggerating when I say I've removed it from my neck once since I put the strap on, to eat my ramen (om!). Which I forgot about during the cooking process (oops!). I was so busy looking at and practicing tabs that I left the water boiling for a half hour! Good thing I didn't add the noodles! o.o
Anyways, so I went from the Blue Oc of Death to my beautiful red ocarina that I have named Hassou {(n) Japanese for: expression (e.g. in music); idea; conception}. And her sound is so, SO much better than the Blue Oc of Death! Whereas the BOoD sounds airy and like it's dying, Hassou sounds beautiful, full, and clear! Click below for a sound sample of me (!) playing one of the first songs I learned, Zelda's Lullaby from...can anyone guess? You over there, want to redeem yourself? Yeeess, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Now you get a cookie! Enjoy.
So, yeah, not much else to talk about right now. My arm still hurts from Saturday, though.

I'm having a shitty day. Tell me a joke.
SWEARS AHEAD!
VENT ALERT!
PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!
This weekend has sucked so far, overall. Some good stuff, but all in all just a festering aura of blahjivobnrijktjfmicsdkf. So. Recap!
All sorts of annoying shit happened yesterday, including attending a counciling appointment with someone that wasn't there but wouldn't bother to tell me for the hour I waited. Or the receptionist didn't tell her I was there. Or whatever. Bull shit. This is the second damn appointment she's missed with me IN A ROW. At least LAST time she had the decency to call and let me know, so I didn't have to get up at ten thirty in the damn morning. She KNOWS I don't do mornings. So I had to sit for an hour in smoker's aura, listening to people bad mouth the president I voted for and fully support, and talk about how they hate the lack of religion in schools, preaching about how they know everything and kids these days are morons (they are, but still), and how it's bull shit that they took the Pledge out of schools (it is; if kids really don't want to say 'God,' they won't: KSSH this is the voice of experience), and how bull shit it is that they took out the bible (it's not, I don't wanna have to read that crap; I was scarred enough by Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird), and how they don't want their kids learning about sex ed from some teacher (uhh, a TEACHER is gonna teach it better, and so many parents DON'T teach it, and kids NEED to know, or they're gonna mess around, and get babies havin' babies).
So then I got home and got the mail. STILL NO OCARINA. So then I went and had a generally shitty day the rest of the day.
Then I woke up at the ass-crack-of-dawn today for school, and we reviewed and my arm hurts from the review (long story that I don't feel like typing), and I had to do one full manicure and two repairs (one of which was the full manicure) which I don't mind. I actually rather like giving massage; I have a healing touch, and I love the reaction I get from people (that feels so good, I'm gonna fall asleep, mmmmm, et cetera). There was lunch somewhere in there, in which I went with a group of students (there were nine of us) to KC's Rib Shack down the road. Spent 11 bucks for a meal that made us five minutes late, it came out so slowly. Finally got the instructor's cell number; now I can bombard her with random texts at WTF at night. But anyway, got a microdermabrasion after lunch, which stung. Not too bad. Left school, drove home in the sun. Bad idea. Feels like I have a sunburn, now. I don't, it's normal, but ow just the same.
So I got home and checked the mail. STILL NO DAMN OCARINA! -sob- I just wanna play on an instrument I HAVEN'T nicknamed the Blue Ocarina of Death!
So yeah. Shitty day.
So how was your weekend?

Been a while...!
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while! A few things have happened.
Let's see. We went to Anime Boston. Did Morty and Jasmine from Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold as cosplays. Lots of people wanted pictures. It was fun. We did fairly well with sales, though not as well as we would have hoped. Meh. We likely won't be in the black this year, but that's all right. I expected as such.
So shortly after the con, I started attending nail tech school. I should be done that late September, early October. Can't wait! This will get me working in a job I can sit in! And I actually think it's fun!
In other news, I have a new obsession. This one is, thankfully, not nearly as expensive as some of my other hobbies, but is probably more time consuming. I have picked up a new instrument: ocarina! It's such a pretty instrument, and very small and portable! I will consider later posting a small clip of the first song I learned. No, it's not Hot Cross Buns. -shudder- But yeah, I like playing sweet potato style ocarinas, and currently have an 8 hole plastic piece of crap that should soon be replaced with a better, 12 hole version. Larger range, hi.
So yeah! Not sure what else to write, but there's a small update. ^^

Ugh
I'm sorry I haven't posted... been super busy. Leaving in about six or seven hours for ANIME BOSTON! The biggest con I go to right now. I hope to change this some time, but I love Anime Boston. Bringing Jonathas and Hayato with me. Not sure about Ryuu and Karen. Ryuu needs his faceup sealed, and to have his eyes put back in, and Karen's wig needs to be secured.
I only have a few things left to do today! A couple things to pack, a couple things to finish when we get down there, but this should prove a very fun weekend! We don't have as much spending money going down as I would like, but meh. Should be fine.
Don't know what else to write about. I need to shut down and pack my computer. That should prove interesting.
I will post from the con, if I remember!

Meat Blob
So I made dinner today. It came out awesome! So here's a recipe-of-sorts!
Ingredients:
-1lb ground lamb
-1 1/2lb ground beef
-about half a medium white onion, finely chopped
-2 eggs, beaten
-2 cups mozzarella
-1 1/2 cups cheddar/mozzarella mix
-several cloves of garlic
-1 1/2 tsps garlic powder
-1 1/2 tsps cumin
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix the meat, onions, eggs, and a quarter-cup of mozzarella in a large bowl
We used a large tin disposable pan; they can be found at many grocery stores. Grease said pan. Or, you could use a loaf pan.
Put about a third of the meat in the pan. Spread the remaining 1 1/2 cup mozzarella over the meat, then add the remaining meat.
Spear the garlic into the meat; I used one about every three inches. Sprinkle the garlic powder and cumin over the meat.
Spread the cheddar/mozzarella mix over everything.
Bake for 45 minutes for a large tin, an hour in a loaf pan.
Et voila, hubby-dubbed meat blob!
The crispy cheese that ends up on top is the most flavorful! This has been dubbed by several people as, "The best meatloaf I've had in a long time." I'll be making it more often!

-grumblegrumble-
So, we bought a replacement camera yesterday at Toys-R-Us, because that's where we were. When we got home, we opened it and took a couple photos. A couple hours after getting home, though, we found our good camera. So, we decided to return the one we bought.
Turns out Toys-R-Us does not allow the return of cameras once they're opened. I was quite upset. And I don't get upset at retailers very easily. So, we are now trying to sell it on Craigslist. If it's not gone by the time we leave for Anime Boston, we'll sell it there. Congoers that have forgotten their cameras or don't have one wouldn't mind buying one at AB.
On the plus side, we finally put some air in hubby's car's tires. So that's good. She's riding so much better now! Also, while we were at the gas station, I found for the first time in a long time one of my favorite snacks, so we picked some up.
We also cleaned up the floor under the table. It's so much nicer, now.
Jonathas has found a likely permanent place on the table, watching my type. He says 'hi'.
Nothing else to update on right now.

Jonathas's New Outfit!
Jonathas's new outfit came in! So excited! Also, I finally found my good camera, so I have FINALLY captured his eye color properly! For the first time! I'm so excited! Oh, AND, my watch gears came in, too! There were two blue gem dials in them, treasures of finds! I'm considering getting two new custom wedding rings forged with them in silver, next to the brass dials with blue gems. I'm excited. Here's a picture! Click him to make him bigger! ^^ (Remy: Don't you wish you could do that with other 'him's?)

New cosplays!
All right, well, I have decided that I don't have time to make Red Mage Ingus for Anime Boston next week, so we're doing something a little different. Something we can pull together in two days. I'm nearly done mine already. We're going Pokémon gym leaders. I'm doing the Ecruteak City gym leader from Soul Silver, Morty. Hubby's doing the Olivine City gym leader from Heart Gold, Jasmine. My cosplay is khaki pants, a black shirt with purple cuffs, a purple headband, a purple scarf with red-painted tips, and black shoes with red soles and purple design. I just need to make the cuffs, scarf, headband, red soles, and purple design. It would also help to find a Gengar plush, and plop my Gengar into my Pokéwalker.
For Jasmine, I just need to sew a dress and slip from the material we got, find an overshirt, sew on a bow, modify the sandals to look like hers, make the hair clips, and... wait, that's it. ^^ I'd like to know where he's gonna put his Pokéwalker...
He's also in the process of sculpting gym badges. If we find trainers, we're gonna challenge them to a mock duel; if they win (which they likely will), we'll sell (or give) them our respective badges. ^^ I'm excited. If he can sculpt them well enough, we're going to cast the badges and sell them at the con. Should prove fun. ^^

Adrian and Remy Part Two
So, I have filed Remy down a crap-ton, and he seems suitably shorter. It'll do, I guess. But now I think I want to get Adrian a new head. And send it out for a faceup. Everyone else's (except Karen's) looks fine, so I think it may be a good idea to order a new head for those two and send them out for faceups. Yeah.
But there's apparently going to be a doll dealer at AB. Joooy. Someplace to spend MORE money. I'll have to see if anyone calls to me. I want a tiny. I am going to get a tiny, and make it Ponyo! I'm excited.
Nothing else, really, to say, so I'm done.

Adrian and Remy
The official Adrian and Remy dolls have arrived! They are Obitsu 27cm boys, Adrian is pale and Remy is fleshtone. Unfortunately, Remy is far too tall! He's supposed to be 5'6", next to Adrian's 6'3". So, I'm considering getting a 23cm boy, and using the torso part on the 27cm legs; 23cm alone is too short. And of course Obitsu doesn't make a 25cm boy. They would get SO MUCH BUSINESS if they did! For serious!
COME ON, OBITSU! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!
In any case, I have done the faceups for Remy, Adrian, and redid the faceup for Ryuu. Now I need to get around to redoing Karen's. Ryuu's and Karen's wigs are on their way to us. When we get money, Adrian's and Remy's wigs will be commissioned. And Remy's tail.
By the way, these are not technically the same Adrian and Remy that are part of my mind. These are characters loosely based off of them. -nod-
Veggie lasagna tonight, 'cause it's Friday. Tomorrow, T.G.I. Fridays, amusingly. Hubby and I need to get some stuff for the con which starts in a week. Yay!
Also! I have been approved for funding from Voc Rehab to attend Laird Institute in Manchester. Translation? I am gonna be a nail tech! I'm excited! I actually like nails! Also, doing nails is something I can do while sitting, which is good for my arthritis. -nod- So I'm excited. Unfortunately, it's at night. So, either I need to miss literally half of my classes at Michael's, extend my leave of absence, or drop out of Michael's. -sigh- I don't really want to drop out, and I certainly can't miss half my time. I could also switch back to days, but that's also something I don't want to do. I really don't want to have day school five days a week, PLUS night school two nights a week, PLUS every other Saturday missed at Michael's 'cause I'm at Laird, or missed at Laird 'cause I'm at Michael's.
Decisions, decisions.
Well, more to come!

See, we came up with the brilliant plan to be penpals! But not just any penpals, mind you! We have a requirement. Whenever we write, we need to be:
a) Sleep deprived
2) Writing in the style of the letter correspondence in a Jane Austen book (specifically Pride and Prejudice)
third) All of the above
(I do that... mix up my bullet markers...)
So wish me luck in convincing her! Hopefully, she can start a Blogger, and we'll just write back and forth! Great laughter is to be had! If I can get people requesting it on this post, she'll read it! Maybe it'll be enough to convince her! So come on, comment! Please? I wanna do it!

Birthday part two!
Okay, so, it's later in the day, and it turned out to be pretty good. We went to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch buffet, and MOH surprised us by treating (MOH: "To make up for your birthday!" ->hubby), and then we came back to our place and watched lots of videos and Twilight with Rifftrax (the ONLY way to endure it, I tell you!). Lots and LOTS of laughter was to be had all around.
So we haven't had dinner, yet, but hubby had to go to work and MOH had to get home, so we had cake first. Black forest cake from Frederick's Pastries in Amherst. I LOVE Frederick's. We got our wedding cake from there. In a couple months, I will be able to report how the cake top tastes after a year of being frozen. They say to wrap it in plastic wrap, then tin foil, then more plastic wrap, then more tin foil, and put it in the freezer. ^^ It's marble cake with buttercream(?) icing. I can't wait.
Anyway, MOH is now home (-sad-), hubby has left for work, and I am sitting here, typing at you! A "Happy birthday" thread has been posted on the Junky Spot forums for me, which makes me happy and feel welcome. I've only been a member there for, like, a month! So they're pretty awesome. And you should totally consider buying from Emory, he's amazing, and if it's not listed on the Junky Spot website, but it's a company he carries, he can likely get it. ^^
ANYWAYS, I have no clue what else to write about. SO! If I think of anything else, I'll make another post. Otherwise, oyasumi!

Wow
Okay, so, I'm awake in the AM. This post can be proof of my being awake before 11, even! OMG! But, we're going out to lunch today, and the lunch buffet at one of my favorite restaurants closes at 2:30, and we need to pick up my best friend first. Also, I'm kidnapping her for several hours. XD Today should prove super-fun. If for no other reason because I'm spending it with hubby and best friend. I need to come up with an intarwebs nickname for her. I mean, I call my husband 'hubby'... I'll think of something later. I simply refuse to use the word 'bestie' other than to mock those that use it or in an ironic sense.
So we're going to San Fransisco Kitchen on Main today. It's a tradition; on either of our birthdays, we go there for lunch. On his birthday, we brought his best man and his girlfriend. Oo, that's what I'll call her! MOH! Maid of Honor. 'Cause that's what she was! Anyway, this place has the best crab rangoon and rice noodles ever! I'm excited. Nan King has better chicken wings, but we can get Nan King any day. Today calls for tradition.
I can now call myself a 'twenty-something'. I just need two more years, and then to stop. 24 and I'm done. Gotta be able to rent a car! Don't care about running for office. I'll vote, but don't ask me to run anything. But, yeah, that's what I've always said: I just want to reach 24 and stop. Aging, that is. People say they want to be 18; what about drinking? So they say 21. What about renting a car? Not at the same time, obviously, but still!
Well, my word, but this entry is all over the place! Well, not sure what else there is to say right now. Will update later with how predictably awesome (or unpredictably awful, gods forbid) my day went!

First post!
Well, this is my first post as my new internet presence. Six years ago, I sought a good user name to convey what I thought of myself. Of course, "Kitsune" was taken, so I tried several variations, and chose "XkytsuneX". Well, it's been six years. I figured it was time I dumped the username I made when I was not yet sixteen, and, in time for my twenty-second birthday, adopt a new name. I have really been opening up to the fact that I have multiple personality lately, and I'll always be a fox, so I, after much fun with NameChk.com, chose FourPartFox. Now, not all four parts are foxes, but the main two are, so meh.
To read this properly, I will assign one of four tags to every post. Randi will be me, the main personality. Remy is my brother; more level-headed, but moody. Adrian will be the voice of all of my characters, as that is what he was before he became a personality. Beast is my rage. Whichever of those four tags is present, that is who is speaking.
On the eve of my birthday, I write this. In an hour and fifteen minutes, I will be legally twenty-two. In two hours thirteen minutes, I will be officially twenty-two. I was a pain even back then! Going out to lunch tomorrow with husband and best friend, then cake. Saturday, it's a cookout as a going-away party for a cousin, and then out to dinner with husband and his family. Next week, we leave for Anime Boston. Somewhere between all this partying, I need to get a lot of stuff done. Yay!
Well, not sure what else to post right now, so... I'm done for now. On to my traditional blog signature!
